    **Overview**

    Kimley-Horn is looking for Engineering graduates to join our Tucson, Arizona (AZ) office in 2024! This is not a remote position.

    **Responsibilities**

    + Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.

    + Contribute to the pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects ranging in size and scope.

    + Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.

    + Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.

    + Analysts will learn one or more software programs specific to their disciplines: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and/or GIS.

    **Qualifications**

    + An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2024 in one of the following majors:

    + Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering

    As the **Facilities Engineering Manager** , you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations of the CSTD development factories, the development of new enabling, hardening, or energy conservation projects related to the mechanical and electrical disciplines, the successful transfer of technologies from our reference site to other sites within the network, and the support of construction ramps in CSTD and receiving factories.

    In addition, you will manage employees and/or outside consultants/contractors who construct, maintain, and repair buildings, utilities systems, facilities systems, and/or install equipment and associated support systems. This position requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures in order to perform non repetitive, analytical work and provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.

    Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

    + Management and leadership of the mechanical and electrical groups.

    + Accountability for detailed, accurate documentation including process and instrumentation diagrams, sequence of operations, operational and maintenance procedures, response flow charts, and training packages.

    + Ownership for the development and execution of a technology development roadmap for each group.

    + Accountable for review of designs, construction, and operations for the Chandler site location and for technology receiving factories.

    + Lead the operations team in unexpected situations such as safety events, operational impacts, and planned downtime events.

    + Will be partnering internally with other business groups.

    Minimum skills and experience that will get you noticed:

    Preferred Qualifications
