Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking an experienced _Principal_ _Systems Engineer_ in the Payload and Ground Systems Division Engineering organization supporting our Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit (BU) to support a program out of our Aurora, CO office.
**Position Overview:**
+ Segment level systems engineer knowledgeable in the inner workings of Servo with full lifecycle systems engineering, integration, and test experience
+ Key attribute is ability to problem solve and diagnose integration issues as part of larger verification campaign.
**This position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work.**
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Must have an **active** U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) with Counter-Intelligence (CI) polygraph (Poly) security clearance **at the time of application**
+ For the Principal you must have a **completed** STEM degree with below years of experience in systems engineering __
+ 5 Years of relevant experience with a completed Bachelor's (STEM)
+ 3 Years of relevant experience with a completed Masters's (STEM)
+ 1 Years of relevant experience with a completed Ph.D. (STEM)
+ Must have experience on all of the below:
+ Experience with requirements development, decomposition, software verification, and generating system and segment-level test procedures
+ Experience working on Agile programs and methodology
+ Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence)
+ Experience with Cameo and DOORS
+ Strong written and oral communications skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
+ Experience with Python, MATLAB, Linux, Robot Automated Testing, Kubernetes, C+Salary Range: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
