Execute advanced mechanical design activities under the supervision of Mechanical Management, demonstrating a high level of technical independence in decision-making. Contribute effectively to projects of varying scales and complexities with efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strict adherence to contract specifications, industry quality standards, and safety regulations. Furthermore, lead on-site commissioning, ensuring precise equipment placement within facilities and optimizing material flow to enhance overall process functionality.
1. Technical
contribution
Coordinates and optimizes mechanical engineering drawings in collaboration with engineering specialists using advanced CAD systems. Conducts thorough layout reviews, integrating multi-level material handling flow while ensuring precise BOM definition aligned with manufacturing and customer pre-approved schedules. Leads training and provides technical support during site commissioning to guarantee optimal equipment distribution and performance. Actively participates in and drives continuous improvement initiatives across project processes, product development, and system design, leveraging lessons learned to enhance efficiency and innovation in multiple projects.
2. Planning and control
Delivers in house assignments as per the agreed timeline and set quality standards for 2D/3D CAD work. Follows work plans and cost estimates for work within project budgets, troubleshooting and support activities.
3. Processes and tools
Ensures accurate application and implementation of standard design practices and tools in preparing accurate drawings and 3D modeling. Uses standard processes and procedures to ensure all layout and equipment selection activities comply with projects specifications to satisfy contractual requirements. Reports processes and tools inefficiencies and suggests improvements ideas.
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s degree such as: Mechanical Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer, Robotics.
+ 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering
+ Hands on experience working with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA
