As a Machine Setup Operator-Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our machining processes run efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards, while optimizing production schedules. You will lead a team of skilled technicians and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and customer requirements. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining and improving our manufacturing operations to increase savings and better serve our customers.

In this role, you will impact our manufacturing operations by ensuring the smooth operation of our machining processes, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices. Your attention to detail and ability to solve complex problems will be instrumental in meeting production deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform machine setups according to production requirements

+ Adjust machine settings to achieve desired output

+ Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity

+ Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs as needed

+ Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance

+ Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

+ Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or concerns to the Production Supervisor

YOU MUST HAVE

+ Proven experience as a machine setup operator or similar role

+ 6+ years of experience with machining processes and equipment

+ Excellent leadership and team management skills

+ Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

+ Good understanding of quality control principles
