Phoenix Children’s has multiple openings in our IR unit. There are three full time, and one part time position that are available. In this role, which is mainly M - F, 4/10’s, 5/8’s or 2/10’s, incumbent will provide procedural assistance/support, board runner assistance/support, preop assistance/support, procedural sedation/support. There is some call required,1 weekday assigned call with rotating weeks & weekend day call (Saturday & Sunday) on a scheduled rotation. Ideal candidate will have IR experience, or 2 years of critical care experience working in ICU/CVICU, ED working in a hospital environment. Incumbent will work will work with a team of 6 providers, and assist with 10 - 12 cases a day. Successful candidate will thrive in a fast paced environment, and develop their critical thinking skills every day as we provide the best care for the children who come to the IR. This position works in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient and family to promote patient health through delivery of professional nursing care appropriate to patients age and condition as documented in the nursing and medical plans of care in accordance with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards and hospital goals, values and regulatory standards.
