Currently seeking a part-time Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist to support our dedicated laboratory team in providing high-quality care to our pediatric patient population. This flexible position is ideal (1 10-hour shift per week) for experienced laboratory professionals who are looking to stay active in the field without the demands of a full-time schedule. The role requires a commitment of at least one day per week and includes coverage for staff vacations and occasional call-outs. The Medical Laboratory Technician II has a working comprehension of the technical and procedural aspects of laboratory tests. The MLT II comprehends and follows procedural guidelines to perform laboratory tests to include instrument operation and troubleshooting, result reporting and record documentation, quality control monitoring, computer applications and safety requirements. This position receives supervision of completed work activities from the supervisor.
