As an Estimator II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for various projects. This role is essential in ensuring the success and profitability of our bids and supporting the growth of our organization.

In this role, you will impact the accuracy and competitiveness of our project bids, ensuring that they align with customer expectations and company standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and provide detailed cost estimates that support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and develop cost estimates

+ Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine project scope and identify potential risks

+ Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs

+ Review and validate subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy

+ Support the estimation process for medium to large-scale projects

+ Assist in bid review meetings and present cost estimates to senior management

YOU MUST HAVE

+ 2+ years of experience in estimating

+ Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs

+ Proficiency in using estimating software and tools

+ Ability to interpret project plans, specifications, and drawings
