Recreation Therapist

**Responsibilities**

All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization. The person doing this job is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost-effective manner. The Recreational Therapist is responsible for displaying good skills in recreational assessment treatment planning group and individual therapy. Additionally he/she is responsible for functioning well as a member of the interdisciplinary team.

**Qualifications**

+ 1 year experience in Mental health in an acute hospital setting.

+ Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in related field.

+ BLS certification required.

+ Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)

+ Good overall interpersonal skills ability to work productively and effectively ability to function well as a member of an interdisciplinary team ability to represent the program well in interaction both inside and outside the hospital.

+ Experience with EMR.

+ Bilingual skills in Spanish or Armenianpreferred.

**Pay Range**

$30.49 - $44.20 /hour
