Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client's team in Tucson, Arizona. This role is essential for ensuring smooth financial operations through precise payment processing and reconciliation. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in invoice management and compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile remittances from clients, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring payments are accurately allocated and comply with organizational standards.

• Perform detailed invoice reconciliation, maintain payment records, and support month-end closings and audits.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to investigate and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies, including proper documentation and handling of funds.

• Review and code invoices accurately, preparing them for payment processing and check runs.

• Track payments to ensure timely processing and maintain up-to-date financial records.

• Assist in streamlining workflows to improve efficiency in payment and reconciliation processes.

• Provide support during audits by preparing relevant payment documentation and records.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.

• Proficiency in coding invoices, payment processing, and check runs.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile invoices and payments accurately.

• Familiarity with financial compliance and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

• Experience with financial software and tools is preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
