Customer interaction is an important and frequent requirement of the **Sr R&D Tech** position. Potential candidates must interact with customers to ensure their needs are being met. It is common to attend project meetings with customers and to interact in person with customers every day they are on site. The desired candidate will work a straight day schedule.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Accountable for coordination of an assigned group of pilot plants including:

+ Collecting, organizing, interpreting, and comparing data against expected performance.

+ Analyzes results and initiates approved action.

+ Ensuring there is good communication within the PPTG and with SBU customers.

+ Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.

+ Accountable for implementing approved plant modifications.

+ Review program assignments and generate plant instructions.

+ Proficient plant operating and troubleshooting skills.

+ Coordinate and perform catalyst loadings and feed blending requests.

+ Set up data collection tools, including Plantbook, Excel spreadsheets, and LIMS profiles.

+ Coordinating off hours support for maintaining plant operation during nights.

+ Train Operations personnel on assigned group of plants.

+ Available 24/7 for calls.

he annual base salary range for this position is $30.04 - $37.54 per hour. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

PERSON REQUIREMENTS:** Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

**YOU MUST HAVE**

+ H.S. Diploma or GED

+ 2+ years of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or pilot plant environment.

**WE VALUE**

+ Detail oriented, resourceful, be able to work independently, have good communication skills, and be able to safely accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously.

+ Math and computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word).

+ Knowledge of the HS&E documentation process, troubleshooting and data analysis.
