Description

Our client, in a growing industry, is in need for a Junior Staff Accountant to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis! This is a great opportunity for someone who has knowledge of debits/credits, and looking to step into an Accountant role to help the client and their accounting team with day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and maintain journal entries efficiently

• Handle data entry tasks with high accuracy

• Support the payment process, including the creation of wire transfers

• Assisting in AP/AR as needed

• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly

• Assist in General Ledger posting

• Utilize SAP for various accounting tasks

• Adapt quickly to uncertainty, finding solutions even when there may not be a clear path forward.

Requirements

• Ideally looking for someone with at least 1-2 years of experience in accounting

• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is essential.

•Understanding of Debits/Credits and assisting in data entry of Journal Entries

• Proficiency in using SAP software or someone tech savvy to learn quickly

-Ideally looking for AA/AS/BA/BS in Accounting or similar field -- open to candidates with experience
