The Effector RF Labs Team at Raytheon is seeking a talented Test Engineer to join our team in Tucson, AZ.

The candidate will be working with a team of engineers performing electrical tests and troubleshooting on subassemblies, assemblies, and systems for conformance to specifications. The selected candidate will also be expected to apply the theory of operation for the unit under test to enable determination of faulty product for design, workmanship, environmental and/or component defects. In addition, the candidate will work on systems validation, test, and analysis, while working through all phases of development and integration within the Effector RF Products Department engineering labs.

This position is an onsite role, located in Tucson, AZ.

**What You Will Do:**

+ Operate an RF test range to perform various data collections for multiple customers.

+ Integration, test and validation activities, and document findings.

+ Set up and tear down of hardware and fixturing for the various tests and data collections to be performed. Design and propose upgrades to the test fixturing and test equipment in the area.

+ Create input files for the test equipment using MATLAB scripts and GUIs. Use MATLAB scripts to post-process collected RF data into its final data format to be analyzed and analyze far-field antenna patterns generated from the raw data of the RF test range.

+ Create and update C/C++ software packages that control, monitor and automate the test equipment in the RF test range.

**Qualifications You Must Have:**

+ Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

+ A minimum of 2 years of experience to include any combination of the following:

+ Experience in test and measurement of RF products.

+ Electrical testing within RF chambers.

+ Experience in reading, understanding, and accurately following prints, schematics, sketches, as well as work from verbal and/or written instructions including test procedures.

+ Experience with the design, fabrication, or testing of electronic and mechanical sub-systems and CCAs.

+ Experience in documenting findings encountered during testing and troubleshooting.

**Qualifications We Prefer:**

+ Experience managing and presenting technical data to stakeholders and customers.

+ Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.

+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities from multiple sources.

+ Strong interpersonal skills working in a team environment with positive interaction.

+ Ability to work on complex problems alone and without daily supervision.

+ Understanding of and ability to design processing algorithms.

+ Proficiency with Python, MATLAB, C/C++ and/or other high level scientific programming languages.

+ Experience with creating executables using C/C++ for control and automation of hardware.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
