Our large, valley-wide, Ophthalmology practice is seeking a compassionate, and qualified Licensed Optician, with exceptional people skills for our Optical Shop located in Scottsdale. This is a full-time position (min. of 32 hours). Potential travel to our other valley wide locations may be occasionally requested as needed. We are seeking Licensed Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with the ability to assist patients in selecting eyewear and providing excellent customer service. The role also requires expertise in fitting and adjusting glasses, performing frame repairs, and cutting and edging lenses. Billing and placing orders for contact lenses and material. As well as, transposing and modifying prescriptions. Current ABO , NCLE, and LDO Certifications are required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist patients with selecting frames and lenses based on their needs and preferences.
Fit and adjust eyeglasses for proper comfort and vision.
Perform frame repairs and minor adjustments as needed.
Cut and edge lenses to precise specifications.
Provide excellent customer service and promote eyewear sales.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
CTL fit and training
Rx transposing
CTL orders
CTL and Frame inventory
Cutting and edging lenses in the office. (Briot/Evolution machine)
Vision eligibility for CTL and Materials
Billing VA, CTL, CTL fitting, Materials
Prior authorization for medically necessary lenses.
Demonstrates high levels of efficiency and accuracy.
Partners with clinic management team, promoting a winning-attitude and displaying compassionate customer service.
Various additional tasks as requested by management.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (Required).
Previous experience as an Optician required, with a focus on sales.
Proficiency in fitting and adjusting glasses and performing frame repairs.
Experience with lens cutting and edging.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and peers.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Current state licensure or certification by a nationally recognized Opticianry Association as a LDO (Required).
ABO & NCLE Certifications (Required).
