JOB TITLE: Production Assistant
LOCATION: Phoenix, AZ
ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
Univision Television Group, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks a full-time Production Assistant to assist with duties pertaining to the production of a live newscast.
YOUR DAY-DAY:
•
Assisting Producers and editing News material
•
Work with technical staff to satisfy graphic needs for shows, under supervision of Producer, Director, and Technical Director
•
Plan and execute any required pre-production elements
•
Assist the Commercial Production team with client creative
•
Aid in the production of our community show
•
Perform other duties as assigned including on camera work
YOU HAVE:
•
College degree or trade school certification is preferred.
•
High School Diploma required.
•
Bilingual in Spanish and English.
•
Write news content, edit video material, and organize rundowns.
•
Social Media knowledge.
•
Knowledge of video production or broadcast environment is preferred.
•
Proficient in live studio operations.
•
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
•
Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities.
•
Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends, holidays, and early shifts.
•
Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
•
Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license and a good driving record.
