**Overview**

Carollo Engineers is a nationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team.

A Systems Administrator’s responsibilities includedeploying, maintaining, and optimizing cloud services, on-premises servers, network infrastructure, enterprise backup applications, and operating systems.They should have an understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, and common security elements. This individual will work closely with Information Security, Network, Application, and Desktop Support team members to deliver a superior class of services and support.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, self-motivated, high-achieving professional with strong knowledge and interest in server infrastructure for on-premises and cloud-based installations. They should have a passion for technology and be eager to work with fellow team members to develop solutions supporting business objectives. They should have strong attention to detail and the ability to think critically and to develop solutions for complex problems. They must have strong communication, organization, project, and task management skills. This position will report to the IT Infrastructure Lead.

**Responsibilities**

+ Assist the Infrastructure Team in the implementation of infrastructure systems and applications.

+ Manage Carollo enterprise backup solution

+ Monitor the environment to ensure availability to all system users.

+ Perform maintenance to ensure systems operate correctly with minimal interruption.

+ Plan for authorized service interruptions and outages.

+ Respond to unexpected or unauthorized service interruptions and outages.

+ Diagnose software and hardware failures to resolution.

+ Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

+ Minimum of 10 years of direct, related experience in Infrastructure with 3-4 years of progressively increasing responsibilities

+ Strong knowledge and real-world expertise in all Microsoft technologies and solutions including but not limited to Windows Servers, Active Directory, System Center (SCCM), File Servers, DFS, Azure, Office365 and Exchange on-premises and online

+ Demonstrated experience working with technical and non-technical staff.

+ Must be experienced with enterprise backup solutions; on-prem and cloud.
