Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead a technical team of engineers and support IPT Lead in low observable and survivability analysis and techniques fostering growth for the team, good customer relations and service to the USG customer, and support proposal writing and estimating.

+ Develops and integrates advanced technology to reduce the detectability of aircraft in the electromagnetic, infrared, visual and acoustic spectrums

+ Develops and implements predictive analysis codes; builds and tests physical models; designs, develops and builds test and verification equipment; and develops, tests and integrates specialty materials

+ Works closely with engineers of other disciplines to optimize the integration of this technology on existing and future aircraft

Basic Qualifications: (the must-have's)

+ Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline AND 14 years of related professional/military engineering experience, OR a Master’s degree AND 12 years of related professional/military engineering experience.

+ Must have strong experience and/or knowledge in signature reduction technology integration, RCS design, analysis, and testing with applicable material selections

+ Must be an expert using 1D, 2D, and 3D computational electromagnetic (CEM) codes to develop solutions for survivable systems and components for sustainment

+ Must be an expert with one or more CAD software solutions such as CATIA, Unigraphics, NX

+ Must be willing and able to work independently and mentor junior engineers

+ Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher

+ Must be able to attain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR/SAP) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs

Preferred Qualifications: (the nice to have's)

+ Experience with Fighter RCS design for bomber

+ Proficiency in RF modeling and testing at an indoor/outdoor RCS/RF test facility

+ Experience with current LO aircraft repair and maintenance techniques and operations

+ Operational experience with LO diagnostic, inspection and verification technologies (Tier 0-III)

+ Knowledge with LO material systems and logistics/support required for field support

+ Strong interpersonal communication and technical writing skills to enable effective personal interaction and collaboration with a multi-disciplined team and customers

+ Ability to work with internal support organizations such as Global Supply Chain and Security

+ Programming experience in C++, MATLAB, Python, or other highly technical languages

+ Ability to use CAE and/or FEA tools (i.e. FMS, Patran, Cubit, etc.)

+ Strong knowledge and ability with RCS data processing tools, such as Knowbell, SABER, or Pioneer

+ Active/Current Special Program Access (PAR/SAP)

**Salary Range:** $135,000 - $247,600

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
