Senior Advanced Systems Engineer

As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading and overseeing a team of highly skilled systems engineers in the design, development, and delivery of advanced systems and solutions. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction for systems engineering activities, driving innovation, and setting clear objectives and expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide strategic direction for systems engineering activities, aligning them with the company's goals and objectives

• Drive innovation and guide the development of advanced systems

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of systems engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence

• Regularly evaluate and provide feedback to team members

• Identify and mitigate risks, and make data-driven decisions to keep projects on track

• Champion best practices in systems engineering and integration

• Collaborate with technical experts and thought leaders to drive technological advancements

• Present complex technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences

The salary range for this position is ($94,000 - $140,000). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering and engineering management

• Mastery of knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting with a thorough understanding of multiple workstreams

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work under minimal supervision

WE VALUE

• Desired Advanced Engineering degrees like EE (Electrical Engineering), ME (Mechanical Engineering) etc. based on job title

• Experience in leading complex system integration projects

• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment • Passion for innovation and continuous learning

• Attention to detail

+ GPS Experience and Knowledge

+ Familiarity with RTCA DO-178B, DO-160, and/or DO-254 certification standards preferred

Experience with performing flight test of commercial navigation products
