Advanced System Engineer for Hand Held Products, Inc. in Fort Mill, SC

Responsibilities:

Work with the customer facing team, technical support, and solutions architect on SW related EWRs/PCRs field issues, identify root cause and implement solutions.

Establish the infrastructure to replicate field use cases, including identifying and having the necessary hardware, firmware, applications, and documented processes.

Work closely with the Scanning NPI software team to review and revamp existing processes and continually drive specification improvements.

Develop a strategy to enhance automation to improve efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve overall product quality.

Work with business and sales leaders to establish regional business priorities for engineering field issues and customer support.

Location: Fort Mill, SC

40 hours/week

YOU MUST HAVE:

Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or a related field, and four (4) years of experience with systems engineering. Must have three (3) years of experience with the following: engineering verification/validation; software development; product testing and test result evaluation to determine product performance to specification. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week.
