Description We are seeking an AP/AR Clerk to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role primarily involves handling both accounts payable and accounts receivable duties within our organization. As an AP/AR Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as data entry, managing MS Office related tasks, and scanning documents.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process and record transactions related to accounts payable and receivable.

• Use computer systems to input and manage data efficiently.

• Utilize MS Office, particularly Excel, for the creation and maintenance of financial reports and records.

• Scan and organize documents related to accounts payable and receivable.

• Handle customer inquiries related to their accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action if necessary.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.

• Ensure all financial documentation is correctly filed and easily accessible.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to financial compliance guidelines. Requirements • Proficient in computer data entry

• Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office Suite

• Experience in scanning and managing documents

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize

• Good communication skills both written and verbal

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

• Prior experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable role is a plus

• Knowledge in basic accounting principles
