Dignity Health Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital is a 104-bed not-for-profit hospital located in Grass Valley California. **Responsibilities**

The Cardiology Technician is responsible for performing all cardiac diagnostic procedures, primarily: EKG and EKG MUSE Medical entry and records.

Cardiology technicians may also be responsible for EEG, treadmill exercise tests, Holter monitoring and scanning, pacemaker analysis and telephonic arrhythmia monitoring.

**Qualifications**

**Required:**

+ Current BLS Healthcare Provider

+ An EKG course completion within 30 days of hire is required

+ Knowledge of medical terminology

**Preferred:**

+ Preferred graduate of a program for cardiovascular technology or certification from the National Board for Cardiovascular Technology

+ Completion of basic arrhythmia class preferred

+ EEG experience preferred

+ One year experience performing EKG's and treadmill exercise testing in an acute care hospital preferred

**Pay Range**

$30.37 - $39.65 /hour
