Our Licensed Vocational Nurse positions are critical to the success of St. Joseph's Medical Center and require the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health. It is expected that our employees demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, assesses patient/family health problems and resources. Assists in the development, implementation, and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team. Provides technical nursing care and interventions as a Licensed Vocational/G.I. Tech Nurse to designated patient populations. This position requires providing care and/or service to a diverse population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and/or developmental age of the individual served.

**Qualifications**

Required:

+ Graduate of an LVN School of Nursing

+ Current California LVN License

+ Current BLS

+ Current IV Therapy Certification

Preferred:

+ One year G.I. Tech nurse experience preferred

+ Computer literacy preferred

**Pay Range**

$36.68 - $47.56 /hour
