**Position Overview:**

**In partnership with the University of Arizona, Banner - University Medicine Tucsonseeks an experiencedPodiatry Surgeon to join the Division of Vascular Surgery and thrive in a research and academic environment.** This is an exceptional opportunity to build a complex wound care and limb salvage program within the Southern Arizona Limb Salvage Alliance under the Division of Vascular Surgery as the tertiary leading center in the richly diverse community.The qualified candidate will receive an academic appointment that is consistent with their credentials.

+ Clinical Responsibilities: OP Clinic (3-4 days/week), IP rounding, and OR (1-2 days/week)

+ Procedures:Routine podiatric surgery, reconstructive surgery, diabetic limb salvage

+ Complex limb salvage and wound care program

+ Paid Shared Call: Not Restricted | 7 Days Monthly | In-Patient Management

+ Average Daily Patient Load:30

+ 1.0 FTE (95% Clinical 5% Teaching)

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Valid AZ medical license upon start

+ American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery Certified in Podiatry Surgery

+ PMS RRA, PMS 36, or PSR 24 Training required

+ Desire to practice and teach within an academic and research setting is essential

+ Complex, Reconstructive, or Total Joint Surgical Podiatrists with 2+ years experience are encouraged to apply
