**Responsibilities**

As our Administrative Assistant at SJHMC, you’ll be a vital part of our office team, supporting our Directors and keeping things running smoothly. Your success in this role stems from your ability to be kind and personable, while still maintaining your work output. You will take calls from patients with administrative issues, greet visitors while the receptionist is out, and attend meetings with everyone from nurses and PAs to the CEO of the hospital.

You'll do a lot of work in various Google programs: Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Calendar, to name a few. You'll also handle sensitive information, so you know that confidentiality is a must. This role will also require you to coordinate specialized project or functions for department including managing databases, documents, reports, schedules or other similar activities under limited supervision. And while our environment can get very busy at times, you'll stay calm and work through it, knowing the whole team is here to help if you have an issue.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Prepare for meetings - those you’ll attend and those your Director will attend without you.

+ Cover for the receptionist during lunch break - greet visitors, help patients pay over the phone, etc.

+ Do intake calls from patients with administrative issues. Route the issue to the appropriate manager after collecting information.

+ Oversee travel expenses for your unit with Concur - collect and input receipts, organize payments.

+ Be flexible with any other administrative tasks; correspondence, reporting, organization, and calendar management may arise.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum:**

+ Five years related experience

+ High School Diploma/GED

+ College level business coursework

+ Experience with MS Office

**Preferred:**

+ AA degree

**Pay Range**

$22.95 - $33.28 /hour
