**Overview**
The Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) is seeking an Adult Reconstruction Surgeon in the East Valley of the Phoenix Metro area.
**Position Details**
+ Based out of **Chandler Regional Medical Center (CRMC)** and **Mercy Gilbert Medical Center (MGMC)**
+ Coverage includes Mercy Gilbert Medical Center (soon to be level 3 trauma center), 1:6 call, extra call available if desired
+ Full APP call coverage 24/7
+ Responsibilities will include being in clinic 2-3 days per week and operating 2-3 days per week. Expectations for surgeries to be performed will include:
+ primary and revision total knee arthroplasty
+ primary and revision total hip arthroplasty
+ Assist orthopedic trauma surgeons with periprosthetic fractures and infections as needed
The Adult Reconstruction Orthopedic Surgeon will report to the Chief of Adult Reconstruction, and ultimately, the Chair of Orthopedic Surgery for all employment, professional and quality-related responsibilities. The surgeon will play a role in the development of the growing Orthopedic Department.

**Minimum Requirements**
+ MD/DO
+ Must have or be eligible for Arizona state medical license
+ Acceptable completion of an ACGME accredited residency program wA passion for providing clinically excellent care
+ Adult Reconstruction fellowship
+ ABOS Eligible or Certified
+ Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
**Dignity Health Medical Group** works in partnership with **Chandler Regional Medical Center** (CRMC), the busiest ACS-verified Level I trauma center in Arizona. Our team’s focus is driven around being leaders in education, centered on evidenced based medicine while ensuring consistent collaboration and communications within the team. Our orthopedic trauma team consists of multiple physicians and advanced practitioners, who partner with both hospital physicians and our trauma surgeons in order to provide the best possible care to our patients.
CRMC evaluated 90,00 patients in the emergency department and 5,900 trauma patients (92% blunt) last year. The trauma bay consists of 6 bays with advanced digital imaging, splinting/orthotic coverage, and anesthesia support. We have excellent subspecialty support, including nine fellowship trained trauma surgeons, dedicated 24/7 trauma room, 70+ ICU rooms, Barrow Neurological Institute (BNI), Norton Thoracic Institute (NTI), and a Team S (special hospitalist service only for the surgical services). Office location with imaging services is a short 2 min walk next to hospital.
**CHANDLER, ARIZONA** :
Chandler, AZ, is a large (300K) family-oriented suburb of Phoenix. Major employers are Intel, Wells Fargo, Northrup Grumman, NSP, PayPal, and Microchip Technology. San Tan Valley, Superstition Mountains, Saguaro Lake, and the Salt River allow for beautiful outdoor adventure with 30 minutes of Chandler. Within the same day, one can ski in Flagstaff and swim in the Pacific Ocean. The Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Lake Havasu, Sedona, Mt Lemon, Salt River, Horseshoe Bend, Lake Pleasant, and Saguaro Lake are all within driving distance. We are a 5 hour drive or 1 hour flight from San Diego or Las Vegas. The weather is awesome 9 months a year with 340+ sunny days a year. When the summer weather is hot you can hop in your pool or drive 2 hours away where the weather is always 30 degrees cooler.

Successful completion of residency program Successful completion of residency program Board qualified or certified. AZ licensed physician Credentialed SJHMC. Membership in appropriate professional associations and societies
**Pay Range**
$294.26 - $409.05 /hour
