**Responsibilities**

In keeping with the Dignity Health core values a histology technician performs routine and complex testing in the histology laboratory and performs quality control for testing performed. Performs routine maintenance and repair on instruments utilized.

**Qualifications**

+ One (1) year experience as a histology technician in an acute care facility.

+ Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.

+ Excellent communication skills.

+ Ability to be an effective team member and to work with many publics across all departments.

+ Basic knowledge of histology testing procedures.

**Pay Range**

$37.88 - $47.19 /hour
