Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Tucson, Arizona. The role is based in a business casual workplace and involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries.

This will be a part-time Bookkeeper role for up to 25 hours a week, flexible hours, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing of customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

• Resolve customer inquiries related to credit promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly for any discrepancies or issues

• Take necessary action to recover delinquent payments from customers

• Use QuickBooks software for bookkeeping tasks

• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) accurately

• Perform in-house payroll duties efficiently

• Use skills in accounting and bookkeeping to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) operations

• Skilled in managing in-house payroll systems

• Experience with QuickBooks software for financial management

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping

• Excellent numerical skills for accurate bookkeeping

• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks

• Strong communication skills for reporting financial information

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for creating spreadsheets and reports

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
