Schedule: 2:00 PM-10:30 PM Mon-Fri

Compensation: $32-$34 per hour plus $1.25 per hour shift differential

The Role:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for having the ability to complete complex troubleshooting and repairs of production line manufacturing and facility equipment to minimize downtime and achieve production goals. This includes mechanical and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) troubleshooting. The position also includes preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems. This position requires the completed documentation for all work performed and analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of repairs and upgrades as part of continuous improvement.

Top Responsibilities:

Must work safely; adhere to all company safety protocols as well as compliance with all National and International Standards and Safety Requirements, such as ISO, NEC, OSHA, etc.
Must be able to meet the requirements and responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician and other duties as assigned.
Regularly inspect industrial machinery and equipment to identify signs of wear, damage, or malfunction.
Diagnose equipment issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty components.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergencies promptly to minimize production downtime.
Uses 5S Methods to maintain the cleanliness of the entire facility as well as their assigned work areas including equipment, tools, and workspaces.
Will be required to participate in training and continuous improvement events such as Lean/Six Sigma Methodologies to continually improve processes.
Repairs and maintains equipment and systems within the Chandler facility, which may include welding, fabrication, and interpreting blueprints and schematics as required.
Assists in the training of the maintenance personnel and may be asked to serve as a member of the Plant Emergency Response Team.
Follow all established procedures and standards to ensure that processes used and materials produced meet all Company and customer product and quality requirements.

Qualifications:

5 years of industrial maintenance experience required, including repair and troubleshooting of high-volume automated production equipment.
Associate Degree in Industrial Electrical or 2-year Technical School equivalent.
Troubleshooting experience dealing with photoelectric sensors, proximity sensors, optical sensors, limit switches, safety switches, motor soft start and across-the-line starters, temperature controllers, thermocouple, and signal wiring (0-10vDC and 4-20mA), chart recorders, SCR controls, and other industrial electrical equipment.
Reference knowledge of the latest NEC codes relating to the routing, conductor sizing, and fill quantities of various conductor types and sizes.
Specialized training or technical education utilizing troubleshooting and programming of the following PLCs: Mitsubishi (preferred) Omron, Direct PLC, Modicon, Allen Bradley SLC5, Control Logix, PICO, and PLC5.

+ Clean and maintain outside landscape: including emptying trash, pick up of trash, general landscape work.

What You Will Do

Test the functionality of components, parts, assemblies, and systems to support production quality, product development, engineering, failure analysis and warranty returns.
Perform visual inspections of intricate parts and assemblies under microscope and other equipment.
Work closely with engineers to ensure testing procedures are accurately performed.
Configure testing equipment hardware and initiate automated test scripts using a computer interface.
Analyze test results, create test reports, and archive the test record on computer.
Interpret the unit test results, disposition unit quality (pass/fail), prepare information needed to perform repairs, and route parts to next process step.
Enter transactional job information into a computerized job scheduling/tracking system (MRP).
Perform equipment calibrations, test standards, and archive results to monitor tester health.
Rotate to different test stations based on daily assignments.
Other duties may be assigned.

**Position Summary**

The Maintenance Technician is an entry level position in which you will be an integral part of a fantastic team servicing vehicles. **Responsibilities**

+ Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.

+ Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.

+ Install and perform tire maintenance.

+ Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.

+ Road test vehicles.

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.

+ Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.

+ Experience in automotive service industry preferred.

+ Reading, writing, and math skills.

**Employment Eligibility**

This role is responsible for general maintenance assignments and performing day-to-day equipment and facility repairs. This position may also support projects such as rebuilding pumps, motors, and other shop repairs as needed. At times, duties may also include handling hazardous materials, waste, water treatment and performing inspections.

** SHIFT DAYS/HOURS - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Wednesday (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) **

Follow specified safety protocol when performing all routine and non-routine maintenance procedures.
Establish preventative, corrective and routine maintenance on facilities equipment to ensure proper functionality, and ensure necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
Lead troubleshooting and diagnosis of equipment failures, identifying appropriate solutions, and in charge of repairing equipment as needed.
Reference equipment blueprints, diagrams, or other resource materials to ensure proper inspection, repair, and use of equipment.
Oversee accurate records of work in progress and completed tasks.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.  May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
4+ years’ maintenance experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
Experience with quality management systems
Certified forklift operator or ability to become certified
Respirator certified or ability to become certified
Successful completion of Hazardous Waste (RCRA) Intermediate level training
