**Where You Will Work**

Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

**What You Will Do**

+ Set-up, deliver and install personal computers, telephones, networking, and peripheral equipment using established and defined procedures and processes.

+ Perform preventative maintenance on voice and data communication systems and associated hardware maintaining accurate documentation.

+ Actively participate in Safety and Environmental programs, ensure MIS policy compliance and site operational goals.

+ Perform voice, network, and PC and basic wireless troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose infrastructure problems.

+ Perform other duties as required.

**What You Bring To Freeport**

+ Two (2) years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.

+ Demonstrated technical expertise in the installation, repair and maintenance of PC hardware, software, printers, fax machines and telephone handsets.

+ Ability to effectively analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose issues with computers, peripherals, cellular and voice systems.

+ Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols and technology including wireless networking equipment

+ Basic knowledge of voice systems (PBX/VoIP)

+ Skill in effective communication, both verbal and written

+ Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime as business dictates.

+ Must be customer service-oriented and possess good organizational skills.

+ Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.

+ Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.

The estimated pay range for this role is currently **$26.00 - $36.00/hour.** This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. What part will you play?

TheInstallation Technicianis responsible for performing awide variety of installation duties on technology projectsfor our clients. This position is the key field position for the bulk of the actual work that gets done in our client’s buildings. The install tech needs to coordinate with project management, field superintendents and others to fully understand their role on specific projects. + Possess all skills from Associate Install Technician and most skills from the Associate Fabrication Technician job descriptions toinstall components and make modifications on site as necessary to complete the project

+ Physical installation of a wide variety of technology into a wide variety of locations

+ Execute a wide variety ofcabling terminationsfor all wire and connector types and ability to test completed terminations

+ Support the preparation ofequipment racksfor staging of equipment wire lacing including installation of power strips, grounding bars, jack-fields, etc.

+ Able to read andunderstand functional design drawingsas well as cable riser diagrams and all architectural drawings

Complexity:

In general, the project manager and a site supervisor are available to answer questions. What do we require from you? Education/Certifications:

+ High school or GED equal

+ Lenel Certification, preferred

+ One or more years as an associate technician and/or fabrication technician or related industry experience

+ Must have a valid driver’s license and adhere to our insurance requirements

+ OSHA 30 Certificate is highly desired.

+ Other relevant certifications may be required or preferred based on the technology focus of the position

Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

+ Must have the ability to: understandaccess control/CCTV systems, install anything ACS, CCTV, intercom related, and troubleshoot and fix any problems that may arise during the installation process.

+ Familiarity with a wide range of audio, video and networking equipment

+ Knowledgeable of low voltage electrical concepts

+ Possess basic carpentry and/or installation skills

+ Proficient use and safety with power tools

+ Good verbal communication skills and good customer service skills

This position is the key field position for the bulk of the actual work that gets done in our clients’ buildings. The install tech needs to coordinate with project management, field superintendents and others to fully understand their role on specific projects. They interpret our drawing packages to create the basis of the finished systems. The installation can include rack and enclosure build outs, panel terminations, device installation, testing and troubleshooting. The Senior Tech will be responsible for our most complex system designs, will mentor other technicians and set the example in all aspects of the job.

What will you be doing?

+ You will be expected to know and learn what is on the BOM for every job and know the material required for your job.

+ Maintain timeline of job schedule with regards to when devices/head end work needs to be installed and terminated.

+ If you are not able to maintain a given timeline, it is expected for you to communicate that with the site supervisor ASAP.

+ Take ownership of job schedules for workload given to you.

+ Prioritize your time properly and be able to manage multiple tasks at any given time.

+ Maintain constant communication with the Site Supervisor on a daily basis.

+ Point out any/all problems found on drawings/matrix to Site Supervisor ASAP.

+ Communicate with Site Supervisor ASAP if equipment is missing/defective. Getting replacement inventory may be delayed due to lead times, hence it is very important to notify to appropriate party ASAP.

+ Help Site Supervisor with inventory if and when needed (maintain an online copy on one note)

+ Keep written records of the following on One Note:

+ Work accomplished with technicians/trades (sub-contractors, GC, EC)

+ Project issues

+ Discuss problems that may arise

+ Site Readiness Document

+ Site Inventory (kept up to date, at minimum, on a monthly basis)

+ Redlines/RFIs (if required)

+ Communicate the need for assistance and guidance for any work that is required for the job. This may include labor problems as well as technical issues.

+ Assist installation technicians on questions or concerns with installation of devices/head end work to be done.

Complexity: This level of technician will be responsible for performing tasks on clients’ job sites with no supervision. This position is responsible for the coordination with clients, contractors and subcontractors. This position will be the key and only senior field supervisor in many situations and will be responsible for delegating work, monitoring others work and communicating with key stakeholders on behalf of the PM. This position requires the highest level of technical and people skills.

Decision Making Authority: This position is often alone on the job sites and requires making good judgement about decisions that need to be made. In general, the project manager and a site supervisor are available to answer questions. This position is independent and will need to make onsite decisions on behalf of the PM. + Administrative capabilities to keep up with day-to-day requirements of every project. This includes:

The Senior Installation Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of installation duties on technology projects for our clients. This position is the key field position for the bulk of the actual work that gets done in our clients’ buildings. The install tech needs to coordinate with project management, field superintendents and others to fully understand their role on specific projects. + You will be expected to know and learn what is on the BOM for every job and know the material required for your job.

+ Maintain timeline of job schedule with regards to when devices/head end work needs to be installed and terminated.

+ If you are not able to maintain a given timeline, it is expected for you to communicate that with the site supervisor ASAP.

+ Take ownership of job schedules for workload given to you.

+ Computer proficiency, including knowledge of Windows-based programs

+ Organizational skills

+ Problem solving skills

+ Exceptional communication skills

No Bio-Medical (dental) Device repair experience? No problem! Other relevant experience includes:

+ Mechanical or Technical experience/education

+ Electrical, Customer service, Military, or Software/hardware experience

+ Pneumatics

+ HVAC

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

+ Providing maintenance and repair services out in the field

+ Training staff on using equipment

+ Training customers on using equipment

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Valid driver-s license and clean driving record (Required)

+ Technical training in the bio-medical or electronics field (Preferred)

+ Physical:

+ Routine walking, bending, kneeling, and squatting, sitting, standing, reaching, and twisting

+ Must frequently lift/lower/carry/push/pull 1 to 55 pounds, occasionally lift/lower/carry/push/pull 56 to 100 pounds

+ Position requires routine pushing, pulling, grasping and manual dexterity in the use of hands, arms and shoulders

+ Able to work in tight spaces

+ Frequent travel to customer sites (daily) and occasional use of power tools
