Wells Fargo is seeking a Systems Operations Engineer who will provide system support for technical issues & initiatives related to large-scale applications, systems, databases and/or other technical products and services. This position sits in the Chief Technology Office (CTO) organization which supports, and delivers enterprise infrastructure services. The Chief Technology Office (CTO) is responsible for enterprise-wide infrastructure services across the global footprint, including networking, production services, storage, data centers, mainframe, midrange and Cloud-based systems, distributed systems, and international infrastructure. This Systems Operations Engineer will provide operational support for Cloud Technologies including Kubernetes, VMWare Tanzu (PCF) Application Service (TAS), Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Integrated (TKGI), and Public Cloud services related to Azure and GCP.

**In this role, you will:**

+ Participate in complex technical issues and initiatives related to large scale applications, systems, databases, or other technical products and services

+ Identify opportunity for process improvements within technical support strategies and plans

+ Review and analyze technical queries to extract data, create standard databases, or perform limited programming to fine tune systems supporting low to medium risk technical deliverables

+ Present recommendations for resolving complex technical queries

+ Exercise some independent judgment to analyze performance trends and recommend process improvements while developing understanding of technical process controls or standards

+ Work as an internal consultant regarding use of tools and processes

+ Provide information related to supported system area to functional colleagues, internal partners and stakeholders, including internal customers

+ Perform initial triage for all incoming alerts, incidents, requests and questions to the Cloud Operations and Support team. Assist application teams and our Cloud Operations and Engineering partners by troubleshooting issues with platform alerts, onboarding, migrations to new cloud platforms, and day-to-day break-fix activities and inquiries

+ Prompt escalation for engagement with the appropriate operational support teams for critical incidents and transitioning other tickets as necessary

+ Transition of open incidents between shifts, prompt response to alerts, incidents and request queues is expected

**Required Qualifications:**

+ 2+ years of Systems Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

**Desired Qualifications:**

+ One or more Cloud Certifications

+ Experience with ServiceNow or another IT Service Management Tool managing tickets & issues

+ Experience with JIRA, Confluence and an understanding of Agile methodology

+ Application or Middleware, IIS, Java, Tomcat, or relevant Web Technologies support experience

+ Some experience with one or more Cloud platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)/Tanzu App Service (TAS)

+ Some knowledge in containerization technologies/Kubernetes

+ Some Linux Administration experience

+ Knowledge and understanding of dashboarding/reporting tools

+ Effective communication skills

+ Strong customer service and problem-solving skills

SUMMARY

Equipment operators are responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment vehicles. The mobile equipment operator I, should be proficient in at least one of the following; loader, haul truck, motor graders, scrapers, compressors, pumps, derricks, shovels, tractors, water pull, bulldozer, forklift, gannon tractor, water truck or front-end loaders to excavate, move, and grade earth, erect structures, or pour concrete or other hard surface pavement and willing to train on additional pieces of equipment. POSITION SUMMARY: The Operator – Heavy Equipment is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment at a recycling center, landfill or transfer station for the purpose of transferring, spreading, covering, loading and/or compacting waste or soil in an efficient and safe manner.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the equipment in accordance with Company policy to ensure windows, lights, mirrors and rear view camera are clean. Safely and efficiently operate equipment that may include: forklift, excavator, bulldozer, front-end loader and other equipment using proper safety standards.

+ Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste in materials.

+ Continuously monitor the condition of the equipment to ensure it is operationally ready at all times to minimize down time; clean tracks or wheels on equipment, as needed.

+ Perform and document minor service on equipment, referring more complicated mechanical issues to Maintenance Shop for repair.

+ Complete Equipment Condition Report and other reports, as necessary; report any necessary repairs to supervisor, as needed.

+ Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

+ Ensure that shop is clean, serviced and stored at the completion of each shift.

+ Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities A Operator is responsible for safely operating computerized and manual process systems to efficiently produce high quality and safe products that meet company and customer specifications. This role also includes performing specialized preventive maintenance (PM) tasks, supporting mechanical troubleshooting, and training less experienced operators. Trains and mentors other Operator team members on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and safety practices. Follows all SQF principles pertinent to your position as specified by the SQF Practitioner. Reports all Food Safety & Quality issues to a Supervisor, QA Manager, or Senior Manager. Inspects/sorts the eggs to ensure the highest quality product is being packaged. Confirms and verifies product weight and labeling accuracy. Ensures proper sealing, cleanliness, and packaging of bags and pails. Understands expiration dates, item numbers, and proper documentation. Minimizes product loss through consistent attention to detail. Maintains a clean, neat, and sanitary work area. Reports all work-related injuries or unsafe conditions to supervisor immediately. Uses appropriate safety equipment (e.g., ear plugs, boots, safety glasses, bump caps, etc.) and lockout/tagout procedures as required. Follows supervisor instructions and supports cross-departmental cooperation. Maintains good personal hygiene. Willing and able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
