Job Summary:
This internship program is designed to empower growth by exploring the dynamic nature of the defense industry throughout Raytheon Operations & Supply Chain (OSC). 3. Maintains data integrity in various databases that track high dollar supply purchases. Assures information is accurate and can be extracted in a variety of ways for the purposes of analysis. 4. Serves as a liaison and expert resource on special departmental projects by gathering data and providing and reporting statistical information creatively and in such a way that can be easily understood. Successfully interacts with all levels of management, physicians, and vendors effectively to accomplish mutual and satisfactory end results. This may also include education, negotiation and troubleshooting for system, regional or business policy issues.
5. Functions as information resource for Supply chain management Directors and staff. Identifies creative ways to present data that is easily understood by non-supply chain personnel. Serves as a resource for end-users of Business Intelligence interacting with system and facility departments as needed to assist with training of teams and individuals in data collection and analysis. Creates presentations and/or reports for management involving significant analysis of multiple or complex data sources.
6. Develops interrelationships among partners and customers who might have similar information needs and manages those relationships to assure effective solutions.
7. Works independently under general supervision. Uses specialized knowledge to make analyses. Acts as the central data analysis hub that supports multimillion dollar procurement activities for all company facilities. This position interacts with users of Materials Management services. In order to effectively accomplish the required tasks this position also interacts with outside sources including vendors, GPO staff and other departmental staff and external upper level support.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires the skills, knowledge and abilities normally demonstrated by a Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, supply chain management, computer science or a related field.
A level of experience as would typically be obtained in no less than three years working with complex data environments or systems. Must demonstrate ability to lead project or cross-functional teams to resolve, implement or reach consensus on issues. Advanced business or clinical knowledge and demonstrated ability to utilize technical skills to resolve organizational needs. Excellent working knowledge of typical word processing, spreadsheet and database applications is required. Strong organizational skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication and human relation skills are required. The incumbent must have the ability to organize, set priorities, manage time constraints, and be able to work both independently and as an effective team member.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with department specific software, including advanced integrated or independent report writing applications.
