This **Sr. Principal Engineer / Staff** GNC Engineer be responsible for performing GNC trade studies on our cooperative development partners component configuration (examples include total impulse trades, actuator sizing, fin loading, tactical interface bandwidth, nozzle misalignment trades, thrust sizing, and battery sizing). Additionally, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

+ Work in multi-disciplinary teams to develop, verify, and validate a complex 6-degree of freedom missile flight simulator.

+ Review GNC workshare requirements, model partner hardware, and attend weekly / monthly international partner program meetings to represent GNC both locally and internationally.

+ Ensure that the Systems Engineering effort complies with internal GNC standards and guidelines.

+ Design and implement guidance, navigation, and control (GN&C) algorithms.

+ Regular interface with program management, engineering staff, and external customers is expected.

Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00Salary Range 2: $147,400.00 - $221,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Performs a variety of engineering work in the design, development, control, integration, and maintenance of complex electro-optical assemblies related to night vision imaging and display systems.
