Job Description

An employer is looking for a Regional Sales Director to sit in one of three locations: Arizona, Colorado, or New Mexico. This role will be leading a team of 18 people consisting of: Tenured reps, therapy consultants, and ASRs. The day to day activity is driven by the DSM This reps will cover AZ, CO, and NM. The Regional Sales Director (RSD) is responsible for leading a team of field sales representatives to ensure the achievement of regional sales targets for the company.

This role oversees the identification of business opportunities, building and fostering client relationships and ensuring the effective sales of products to meet/exceed sales forecasts and goals. This will be a true leadership role and we need an experienced sales leader that is comfortable being on the road and selling shoulder to shoulder with Reps. Patient interaction - driving the business, in the weeds, working with them business plans, they will be on the road, and managing budgets.

In this role you will also:

-Grow the business with current and new customers

-Training, coaching and direction of District Sales Managers (DSM), Sales Representatives (SR), Associate Sales Representatives (ASR) and Therapy Consultants (TC)

-Fiscal budgetary responsibility

-Asset/inventory management

-Develop and ensure proper execution of regional business plan which identifies opportunities within current customer base

-Help formulate sales strategies with direct reports to meet/exceed sales goals

-Prospecting for new customers and driving lead follow-up with direct reports

-Develop and implement strategies to counter competitors

-Identify, establish and maintain productive working relationships with key decision makers, customers and their staff, administrative staff, etc.

-Provide high level of service with patient outcomes held in the highest regard

-Recruit, interview, and hire sales and clinical professionals as region requires

-Visit customers and patients in a clinical environment (hospitals, operating rooms, clinics, surgical centers) and travel daily within region

Skills and Requirements

- Minimum of ten years of medical device or medical products sales experience

- 5+ years of proven sales management or related leadership success

- Must have sales accolades from prior roles

- A strong sales leader, helping with business plans, dinners with surgeons, active in the field, has got to be able to talk about leadership style and ideally comes to the table with relationships

- Live within the regional Territory: Arizona (preferred), Colorado, or New Mexico (could consider Southern CA)

- Strong experience coaching and mentoring junior staff - Comes from neuromodulation

- Deep brain, epilepsy, deep brain stimulation null
